
Space Man Sam
A 3D paltormer built as part of my course with Michigan State University.

Space Man Sam is a proof of concept prototype game consiting of 3 platforming levels and one boss level. The game is set on the surface of mars and is centered around a struggling astronaught collecting pieces of his ship from rogue hostile robots to get back to earth.
For Space Man Sam my focus was on level design and the occasional new system. The levels in Space Man Sam gradually introduce new enemies to the player while allowing them to explore more and more of the Martian environment. Eventually the player unlocks a jet pack mechanic as pictured to the right and shown in the video above which is a system I created to allow the player to explore the vertical space of 3D environment.
